Early 1900 lithograph on board of Lac Léman vu de Chexbres (Lake of Geneva) by Ferdinand Hodler. Lithograph has some light water staining and the frame has wear along the left hand side. Beautiful original piece still housed in the original frame.
Hodler was part of the Secessionist movement. His Symbolist and Art Nouveau paintings were inspiration to many Viennese Modernists like Klimt, Schiele, Moser, etc. Best known for his abstracted landscape series.
