Sylvia Bower Raku Fired Porcelain Set (Signed, ca. 1980). A set of three raku fired porcelain vessels. Small hole at the top of the smallest and tallest vessel. Bower was interested in playing with void and the pieces were seen as objects of beauty not as functional. Stamped on the side of each piece with Sylvia Bower’s signature. The middle piece is wrapped with ceremonial twine. In good condition. There are spots or chips on each piece but these are part of the Raku process and should not be seen as “damage”.

Tall Vessel: 4.5”H x 2”W
