Large Qing Dynasty Celadon and Russet Colored Stone Water Buffalo. Beautifully carved buffalo in recumbent pose. Grayish hue of celadon with pools of russet throughout heavier on the bottom. Some black veins around the face and neck. No chips or damage to the piece. Small tuft of hair on the head represented by five lines in a swirl pattern. Horns interlocked at the top of the head.
