Wilhelm Freddie (Danish, 1909 - 1995) - Untitled Surrealist Etching, Signed (1966, Rives Paper). Limited edition etching from the International Anthology of Contemporary Engraving by Arturo Schwarz for Galerie Schwarz in Milan. Part of the Forerunners in the Avant-Garde series, this engraving was printed in Paris on the hand-press of G. Leblanc in 1966. The handmade paper was manufactured by the Papeteries de Rives. From a limited edition of 60, signed and numbered in pencil at the bottom. Housed in the original grey sleeve with the acetate window. In very good condition with slight toning on the edges. Wear is consistent with age.
