Painted in a plein air expressionist style which Ferrara was known for. Framed in a painted grey slat wood floater frame. Signed/dated in the lower right corner en recto with label and title en verso. In very good condition with some wear to the frame consistent with age.

Anthony A. Ferrara (1930-2012) was a Philadelphia artist who graduated from the Tyler School of Art in 1963, and later studied with Ben Eisenstat at Fleisher Art Memorial. He is perhaps best known for his plein air cityscapes of Philadelphia.
