Antique 19th C. German Lidded Fretwork Tramp Art Box. Intricate fretwork and trim work against a red box. Double layer lid with hand built reverse corbel detailing. Initials AS are carved into the fretwork at the top of the box. Original paisley interior skin. The interior of the lid has a secret compartment complete with a sliding double door. Five collage images adorn each side of the box. In used condition with wear consistent with age. Please refer to photos for details.
