Antique Italian Hand Carved Alabaster Cockatoo Bookends (Pair)
A pair of Italian carved alabaster bookends of cockatoos sitting on a perch. Nice translucent cream areas with a muted grey and beige veining throughout. Substantial sculptural size. Can be used for bookends or just as objets for a tablescape. Marked on the bottom with a ‘2’ and ‘Italy’. In very good condition with minor scuffs consistent with age.
