Joseph J. Greenberg Jr. (1915-1991) - "The Prisoner" (ca. 1968, Fiberglass). Seated nude figure with his hands secured behind is back. Greenish hue color to the sculpture. There’s some age to the waist area, but in good condition. Please contact the store with any questions.
Joseph J. Greenberg Jr was a woodworker and sculptor in Philadelphia. He created many public art sculptures in and around Philadelphia including: Granite Bear and Cub at the Philadelphia Zoo, Two Hands in West Philadelphia, Birds in Flight on Market and 2nd in Downtown Philadelphia, and the Symbol of Progress at the entrance of the public library in Bethlehem, PA.
