Riverscape of the Schuylkill River with “The Poet” and “The Preacher” sculptures in the foreground and two women sitting on a bench in the background. Signed and dated in the lower right corner. In good condition with wear consistent with age. The black slat frame has scratches and scuffs, but can easily be removed if not needed. Please refer to photos for details.

Anthony A. Ferrara (1930-2012) was a Philadelphia artist who graduated from the Tyler School of Art in 1963, and later studied with Ben Eisenstat at Fleisher Art Memorial. He is perhaps best known for his plein air cityscapes of Philadelphia.
